Llwnypia, Rhondda ANDREWS

Hi all
Can anyone help me with the occupants of Church Street, Rhondda for the 1950's. Number 22 Church Street was the home of my grandparents (ANDREWS). My grandfather made a reference many years ago to having a cousin 'down the end of the street'. Nothing was thought about it until recently when I found that Leighton J Andrews (Welsh Assembly Member) was born in Llwnypia.
Before contacting him direct I would like to establish if he did live in Church Street or thereabouts and by knowing his parents names and were living there I can see if they will match unallocated locations of my ANDREWS records. Once I have this info I can contact him direct and be able to show he is not receiving a 'crank' letter.

Can't help with occupants of Church Street - perhaps local library and electoral registers would give you that info.

If you use FreeBMD you will see his birth entry for Sep qtr. Cardiff this corresponds with the dob given, middle initial is ‘R’ also gives his  mother’s maiden name

Found details on the wikipedia site and cross referenced them with his facebook page which confirmed born in Llwnypia. Freebmd gave me his mothers surname and birth quarter.
