I am a descendant of the Kearneys of Maynooth - it seems it was quite a popular surname in the area during the 1800s ... 

Would love to know more about John (b.1822, Maynooth) & Ellen Kearney (nee Martin, b.1823, Maynooth) my gr.gr.gr.grandparents - or any other forebears on either side, some of whose names I know.

Any descendants out there ?
