I am researching CHARLES FOOT (1832-1916) who established Foot's Carriage Works in Preston Village in the mid-late 1800s. I have details of his family tree, but I would love to find any photographs of Charles, his family or the business located in Walton Avenue, Preston. Does anyone have any leads on this? I am already aware of a restored horse-drawn ambulance at Beamish, which was originally constructed by Foot's Carriage Works. I have also looked through the file held on Foot at the Local Studies Centre at North Shields library, which has lots of interesting information but few photographs.
