St Michaels Garton on the Wolds

George Blackburn and his wife Marion lived in Garton on the Wolds and both died there within a few months of each other in 1959.

Can anyone tell me whether they are buried in the churchyard of St Michael's?

Any help much appreciated.

Hi Pinetree

You could ring the Registrar at Driffield and ask if they still have the Burial Register for that year (it could be deposited in Treasure House Archives, Beverley) and if s/he would look the entry up to see if it was a Burial or Cremation and where it took place etc..
