i am doing research on Adams family,on the 1911 census for banbury workhouse there is listed as inmates,Emily Adams born 1879 bodicote,Alfred Adams born 1906 neithrop and Amy Adams born 1908 neithrop.Amy i am OK on. Alfred i can not find, the only thing i have from my family is he was last known to be in liverpool,is there a record of where he went from the workhouse. with Emily i know from a marriage cert that her father was Richard Adams, but i can not find any other info on him or Emily's birth,or her mothers name.

I know you were asking where Alfred went to after the workhouse but there as a baptism in Banbury of an Alfred Adams 1st November 1905 mother Emma Adams Calthorpe St Banbury.  Mother in service.

As Alfred went to Liverpool could he have emigrated?

Think I have found your tree on Ancestry so you seem to have knowledge on Alfreds mother and other Adams ancestors.  I would say the transcribers made a mistake with Alfreds mother and it should be Emily.  Thought I would let you know Emilys other child Amy Florence was born in the union workhouse and the baptism was Nov 5th 1908 Banbury.  It says sic for the 5th meaning uncertain.
