Marriage - Maden

I am trying to trace the marriage of Edward Maden to Mary Ann ?. All I know is that they were married around Sept 1868 in Rochdale. I need the Maiden name of Mary Ann and any other information would be a help.

Well it would seem that he married Mary Ann Maden in September qtr 1868 District Rochdale, Vol 83 Page 39.  Using this information you will be able to order the certificate online from www.gro.gov.uk which will give you Mary Ann's father's name, their ages, addresses and occupations plus a couple of witnesses.

They were married in St Chads church in Rochdale.
