Northumberland question

[Looking for the birth of Margaret Elizabeth Laverick around 1881.  She was born in Blythe, England which I understand is in Northumberland Co.

Hi Pammy, A little late but, could this be your Mgt Eliz Laverick, born 1 Sep 1881, Blyth, ( my home town) Death 20 July 1941. Birth registered in Morpeth, if you want to send for certificate. Cheer's Dolly Dimples,

Wonder if you may be able to help me .
I am trying to find out if there were any children of my partners uncle they livedin stobhillgate morpeth I only know that he was killed in the war in 1942 there names were
Wilfred John Back who married a Ivy Doris  ????
dont know date of marrage except they were married in 1942 when Wilfred was killed   cant find there marrage on any site so dont know were else to look for children and ivys death  any advice woiuld be great thanks

Hi Dolly.
Thank you so much  I have been searching all over the place the only details I have are as follows
Wilfred John Back born21st June 1909
he was in the royal horse artillery and died aged 34 on october 28th 1942
son of  richard george and alice hannah back of ramsgate kent.
he married a ivy doris ?  and the adress given is stobhillgate morpeth northumberland.
wilfred is buried in el alamein war cemetry
would love to know if ivy is still alive or if they had any children

Thank you for your last onfo now dont seem to be ableto find if either ivy , mary or peter are still alive any idea were the best place to look would be please or do i need to contact morpeth direct

Hi Sylvia, Sorry, you got me stumped this time, I have never researched anyone that far on, I'm still in 1800's with my lot.Only other thing you can try is the following local newspaper's.Sites are www.blyth-wansbecktoday.co.uk  or icnewcastle.co.uk    They would  place a letter in paper, (free)and it's possible someone will reply. Sites should give you addresses.Sorry cant be more helpful than that.  By the way, forgot to mention that my Mother's sister married a Frederick Edwin Ernest Back, but he went down on HMS Exeter, in the last war.
