1841 Census lookup for Lewis

Hi,

I have the marriage cert for John Lewis and  Martha Burnhill, parish of Saint Peter Carmarthen, dated April 1840.
 On it it says that John was a Saddler and  his residence was " Parade " whatever that is.
Martha was a Seamstress  and  her residence was the  "County Gaol "  Any ideas about this ? What it means etc

What I am wanting is a lookup on the 1841 census to see where they lived once they were married.
 John was born Carmarthen 1816 and Martha was born Oxford 1817

Was Martha Burnhill the daughter of Robert Burnhill and Sarah Hancock?

Robert was Turnkey at oxford Jail in 1851.

I have a daughter Ann married to John Crampton

Where would your KEEN name come into your family?

Great to hear from you , this is some of the info I have .
On the marriage cert i have of Martha Burnhill and John Lewis it does not state a fathers name for either of them unfortunately. There is a  witness Elizabeth Burnhill, ( This could be John Burnhills wife, ( nee Allen ) who was born in Carmarthen abt 1809 )
As yet I have not sorted out who Marthas parents are..
 Martha was born in Oxford 1817.
I have a  John Burnhill born 1787 Althorp Northampton and his brother Robert Burnhill born 1785 same place. Yes, Robert was a turnkey jailor. and his brother was also a jailor.
What details have you on Robert and Sarah Hancock?
In 1861 and 1871 Census Robert was widower and living with John Burnhill and his wife.
I have a death of John Burnhill  December 1876 age 89 Carmarthen and Robert Burnhill June 1874 age  88 Carmarthen.
Love to hear what you have on this family.
The only Keens I have are Fanny Keen born 1801 Cholesbury and married Richard Saunders April 1818 , they had eleven children. Her father was William Keen born abt 1774 who married Sarah Forster 1799.

Sorry I have only just found your reply

I am tracing Ann Burnhill born in Abthorpe  c 1810, daughter of Robert and Sarah 

Ann married John Crampton in Biddenden Kent 11.7.1827
Ann gave her address as  Brideswell Hospital, London.

I found their son Robert Crampton living in Oxford with Ann's parents in 1851

I am assuming that Martha could be either the daughter of John or Robert as it looks as if they may both have been in Oxford.

My Keens' were originally from Measham, Derbyshire.
Ann Burnhill's  great Granddaughter Mary Ann Crampton married an Alfred Keen  c 1915
