Details of any of the following names in Canonbie would be of interest
Arthur Bell, Margaret Bell (mn Scott), Margaret Bell (mn Cairns) all these would be 1859 or earlier.

In the Canonbie Parish Church Graveyard MI's - nothing found for any of the persons you are looking for.
However entry # 408 from the MI booklet has the following "In memory of Margaret Bell wife of William Cairns who died at Tinnieshall 31st August 1838 aged 30 years. Also Elizabeth their daughter who died 14th July 1838 aged 1 year. Also William Cairns who died at Broadmeadows March 29th 1890 aged 79 years."
