Benhall marriage - Newby & Sanders COMPLETED
« on: Saturday 09 June 12 10:55 BST (UK) »
Could someone please do me a big favour and check the marriage entry in Benhall St Mary for James Newby and Ann Sanders?  I would like to know if the occupation for Ann's father William is recorded.  I copied the details when I last visited the Ipswich RO some time ago and wonder if I missed this detail.

She was born in the Exmouth area of Devon around 1816 and I am trying to work out who her parents were.  I have two candidates for her father, both William, one was a labourer and the other was a publican so finding the occupation would be a big help.

Whoops!

I forgot to say that the date of the marriage was 27 June 1840.

Sorry about that

All sorted out thanks to the Online Parish Clerk for Devon.  For the record, Anne was baptized in East Budleigh on 27th November 1814, the daughter of William Sanders, labourer, and Sarah Clarke.
