the 1911 census states Kilmore, Wicklow does this help? May have been RC because family predominately Roman Catholic

only just spotted that reply had 'Wicklow' - I just saw the Kilmore and assumed Wexford...

I dont think there's a Kilmore in Wicklow.

I am trying to find information on Elizabeth Busher born in Wexford around 1853 and who married Christopher Locke in Birkenhead, Christopher died tragically young and Elizabeth went on to marry Mr Townsend, I think Elizabeth's father was Peter Busher but cannot find any info re her family tree.
She is listed as servant to Mr and Mrs Thomelly in Claughton, Birkenhead on one census prior to her marriage, I don't know when or why she came to Birkenhead, on her marriage certificate her father is listed as a stone mason but don't know if he came to Birkenhead or was still in Ireland, any cues or suggestions gratefully received!  ;)

a) Elizabeth Locke married a Patrick Tennyson not "Mr Townsend" in 1888

..

c) You appear to have Elizabeth's marriage cert but state "I think" her father was Peter Busher. Is his name not stated on the cert?

d) If not then in the 1871 census there is one other Busher family resident in Birkenhead who  could possibly be the parents of Elizabeth.

F Busher - aged 48 (born Ireland)
E Busher - aged 46 (born Ireland)
Mary Busher - Dau - aged 16 (born Lancashire)

In the same census there's a James Busher - aged 62 - born Wexford - in the Liverpool workhouse.

Hi Shorts, Elizabeth married Christopher Locke first, he died in 1882 of meningitis, she went on to marry Mr Tennyson and they went on to have more children. Her 1872 marriage to Christopher lists her father as Peter Busher (deceased) and his profession as stonemason. Her marriage to Patrick Tennyson in 1888 states same information.
Don't know if Peter was over in Birkenhead or if he in fact died in Ireland, don't know if Elizabeth had any family in Birkenhead prior to her first marriage or indeed if she had any brothers and sisters living in Ireland, any suggestions on how I may crack this brick wall?
