Emily Jane Butler
« on: Wednesday 13 June 12 17:54 BST (UK) »
I am starting to see if there is anyone out there that has Emily Jane Butler (Nee. Hurford) in their tree?

She was born to John Harris Hurford and Priscilla Beatrice Turner on July 26 1876.  She is the eldest of 4 from her mom, and 10 from her father.  She is seen on a ship in 1896 going to Chile.  We don't know when she went back to England or why, but in 1901 I can find her on the Census married and with a 2 month old Child.  This all goes along with information that we already know.

We also know that she had 5 children total: Gertrude Butler, Priscilla Butler, Gladys Butler, Harry Butler, Kathleen Butler.  This is the extent of our knowledge of her branch of the family.

Hi

You don't mention where she was born, who she is married to, the name of the young child and where in the world they are in 1901.

Odd that I missed that.

Birth in Wakefield, Yorkshire, England.  Husband Harry Butler, and the 2 month old is her eldest, Gertrude.

Also if it makes a difference, she dies March 1st 1943.
