Have you found William and Kate in 1911 census? should give number of years married which would narrow down possible date of marriage.
Birth certificate for either girl would give mother's name.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Can't find a marriage just yet, but if it is any help to you, a Rebecca Jane Black from Shegus in Ballyshannon was born on the 19th April 1882, to parents William Black and Catherine Gibson.  I'm assuming this is a potential candidate for Rebecca J Black in the 1901 census:

And an Eliza Anne / Lizzy Ann Black was born to the same couple in the same place on the 4th February 1884...

For what it's worth, William Black of Shegus married Catherine Gibson of Portnason on the 7th April 1881. Presbyterian. Both full age.

His father was James Black, a farmer, her's was Hugh Gibson, also a farmer.

Witnesses were John H Vaughan and Elizabeth Gibson.

And sorry this is so disjointed, but I've just noticed that a Catherine / Kate Black was born to this couple in 1886, as was a Fanny Black in 1890...

Hi Gaffy
Thank you so much, what you have found for me is amazing!
This site is really great. Rebecca Jane married into the Anderson family and through this site I have made a connection with Andersons in Winnipeg who are travelling to Ireland in July.
Many thanks, Betty

Hi, 2 potential marriages for the girls, Elizabeth Anne Black, 1918, Ballyshannon and Fanny Black, 1923, Ballyshannon, this would leave both in the 30's at time of marriage, late for time period so worth bearing in mind, don't have any other details apart from the entries below:
