Kent Quarter Sessions 1818 - LEE
« on: Sunday 24 June 12 11:35 BST (UK) »
On 23 October 1818 at the Kent Quarter Sessions, gypsy Augustus Lee was charged with 'assault with an offensive weapon with intent to rob' . He was sentenced to seven years transportation to New South Wales, Australia aboard the Baring convict ship.

Would anyone be able to lookup the court records for me please?  I'm particularly interested in any possible details of Augustus' birthplace, birthdate, parents, other gypsies he may have been travelling with.

Thanks!
