Richard Britten (an, in,on, ain)

Could someone please help me with the parents of a Richard Britten (surname sometimes spelt as in subject) born in Chatteris, Cambridge in Oct 1832 & married a Honor Neve in West Ham in 1862.  Birth registers don't seem to go back that far (1832).  Thought maybe someone living around Chatteris may know what site I can go to to find records of his birth. Thanks

Birth registrations only started in 1837. Before then you need to find baptisms.
