Hi all,
I wonder if anyone can help me trace where Martha Abrahams is buried. It's a bit unusual in that she died in Islington, London, on 13 December 1920, aged 75. Her will, however, requests that she "be buried at Swansea, South Wales near my old home where my people are buried". She asked that her brother Thomas Ayres be responsible for the provision of the grave and burial. He was living at Orchard Street Swansea at the time and Orchard Street is where Martha spent her early years. Her parents were James and Rebecca Ayres.
I have asked for a search of the municipal graves, from the Council, and am waiting for a reply. I suspect, however, that she may be buried in a churchyard.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Nika
