In the 1901 census there is an Ernest WINFIELD aged 9 , born Bulwell, who is in the Beech Avenue Workhouse in Nottingham. Could this be him? The place of birth given is never guaranteed to be accurate.
Ref : Piece no 3191 Folio 129 Page 8.
