Looking for info on Patrick Byrne b. 4/2/1899 Either in N.Y. or Ireland. He died in June 1949 in N.Y. (Brooklyn I think) and was a patrolman in the 20's. He was married and had 3 children: George Byrne Anne Byrne & Mary Byrne. He married Nora Cunningham. Any help is appreciated! VERY large brick wall for me.

The majority of the current expertise on this site is for the Uk & Ireland only. I would however suggest that you try searching out NYPD sites which sometimes list past members, and work back from the US 1930 census, where he should presumably be shown as head-of-house.

Any census request should include all known

names, ages, occupations, birthplace

Well done. Pop back if you ever need another pointer, and we will try to be just as helpful second time around
