Help. where is he buried.
« on: Friday 06 July 12 15:57 BST (UK) »
where is James Slack born in 1824 buried? I am listing below his family to try and see if any info comes  from that.  On the 1871 census he was living at 43 Dirty Lane Sutton, which is now called Cockhall Lane.
James Slack -b wildborclough 1824 -died 1898 Langley Macclesfield.   Margaret Kemp (wife) b 1834 died ???
James (son) b 1857 married Kate Samway in Civil marriage at Nantwich between 1891 - 1895
Abraham (son) b Langley 1858
Maud ( daughter) b Langley 1865 married Joseph Sigley (Police Inspector Macclesfield)
Albert (son) b Langley 1867
Thomas Edmund -  son  (known as Edmund) b Langley 1869 *married Eliza Roberts 1906
Harry (son) b Langley 1871.
I have searched the local churches without success and now wonder if he was Methodist.  If that is the case where would I find out where he is buried.  I know he died in Jan/Feb 1898 as his inquest to his death was in the old Macclesfield courier.  I would be very grateful for any ideas as to where I can find out where he is buried.    I dont even know whether he was born in Cheshire or Staffordshire.

Do you have the baptism for James Slack -b wildborclough 1824 -    ( could be Norbury Staffs) or a clue who his parents where?

Just that I am trying to unravel to unravel a Thomas Slack born Wildboarclough (or Macclesfield or Brand Top)  c1806, may be a link but then again ........

He is still with Margaret and family in 1891 but in 1901 she is a widow.

On FreeBMD there is a death for

James Slack born about 1822 died 1898 Macclesfield
