Children of James and Elizabeth Beckett- Linda, Mary, George, Susan and Jeanette. Our sister Cathy passed away some years ago now.

Wow!  Thanks to Sandra for the naturalisation for Olive - suggests that James Gibson Beckett was alive and living in Hamilton in 1947.

We are now in touch directly and updating our trees!

One last possibility - There were a couple of James Beckett's listed on Canada Voters List in Hamilton - a couple of entries could possibly be discounted as not your James Beckett but there was one buried at Woodland Cemetery Hamilton in 1956.  Wonder if it would be worth an e-mail to the creator of the find a grave memorial to see if the headstone inscription photograph would tally with dates for your James  ??? JUst a thought anyway.
