Marriage of Ann watson Ledge to John penniston 7 July 1812.  Cattistock or maiden Newton Dorset.

Looked on ancestry and can't find anything on Watson ledge name.  Also Ann Watson  Maiden Newton b1794, father James Watson.

Where did you get the date of marriage from

Is the entry Ann  Watson  Ledge - indicating that Watson was a middle name

Or - is it Watsonledge - indicating all one word

The records on Dorset OPC for Cattistock and Maiden Newton show no marriage for that couple.

The marriage is on Ancestry 7 July 1812 Maiden Newton John Penniston and Ann Watson Ledge.

When you read the entry the date looks like 2 July 1813 Ann's name looks like Ann Watson Lodge then nothing else is filled in and it said on bottom This last marriage is entered in new book page 1.

Thankyou for your help. 

I am searching for the marriage of John Penniston (bc 1790 Saxby Leicestershire)  and Ann.  All i know is Ann ? was born c 1794 Maiden Newton, Dorset.  She had two children John and Hannah c1814 Maiden Newton.  Both said to be about 1814. No sign of births for both other than later census in Liicestershire.  Hannah married William Todd in saxby, leicestershire. John married Mary Chamberlain in Barrow upon Soar Leics.
   
Found possible marriage of Ann Watson ledge on Ancestry but need to upgrade which is pricey.  Also cattistock OPC is searching.
