Hi,
If your looking for events after 1837, then the following may have some records:
www.yorkshirebmd.org.uk
The parish records for the Hornsea area are held at the East Yorkshire Archives at the Treasure House in Beverley.
If you need any lookups doing their, just ask here, I'm sure somebody should be able to help - I'm often their doing my own family research and more then happy to do lookups, especially if there's plenty of info to narrow down date/church etc.
Kev.

Hi & thanks Kev - I'm getting a clearish picture in my mind about names, places and dates ... I think - Skirlaugh seems to be popping up a bit, - I'll get a name and date together. Annie
