Where would I find
« on: Monday 09 July 12 12:17 BST (UK) »
Hi

Where might I start looking for parish records for Hornsea, Aldborough East Yorkshire UK 1800's

I'm in Australia and wondering if they might be on line to search?

Hi, welcome from me as well.
Most public libraries have free access to Ancestry. They have most parish records.

You don't say where abouts in Australia, but Capital City Libraries have access to Ancestry and most regional libraries.

Welcome to Rootschat.  Unfortunately Ancestry haven't got the East Riding records on their website yet.  However, I am sure that if you post your queries on the East Riding & York Board some kind soul will try and help you.  There are a lot of very knowledgeable people on this site.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!
If you don't ask the question, you won't get an answer.
