hello rootschatters,does any one know if there was a traveller or gypsy site in Brampton cumbria and would like to know if anyones family travelled this area .names of the family's that travelled this area ,was it place they stopped.

There is a privatley owned site on Brampton old road, sorry I dont know how long its been there.

see on your family names you have a boag ,i have boags from sterling scotland wonder if there the same ones thanks.

Just checked my tree the ones I have orginated from Perthshire, but did end up in Stirlingshire.

then not sure of the boags then but wot about the stewarts wot family in stirling
