Can anyone work out the Regiment of the 3 men from WW2
« on: Friday 20 July 12 13:57 BST (UK) »
Hi all

This is a family of photo of minie and I wondered if anyone could work out the regiments from the cap badges and buttons on their uniforms. The photo was taken in 1940. The groom was in the Somerset Light Infantry but I am unsure about the other 2 chaps.

Any help I would be very grateful. Many thanks.

Both were serving in the Royal Artillery when this image was taken. Hope it helps.

Thanks so much OR.  I know one of the grooms brothers was in the Machine Corps so that might rule him out on this photo. Thanks so much.

If you mean the Machinegun Corps, then that can be ruled out anyway if the dating of the picture is correct. The MG Corps was disbanded in the early 1920s I believe.
