Albert Green - Alice Otterwell

Hi Everyone.

I wonder if someone could please look up a marriage for me between.

Albert Green and Alce Otterwell June qtr 1901 Melksham 5a 247. I would think the Church is Trowbridge.

I am trying to find out Albert's parents.(if its the right one it might give just his mother Eliza and not a father).

Another idea would be to find out if Alice E Green marriage to Charles Hamblin 1920 at Trowbridge Holy Trinity is the same Alice remarrying.

Did Albert die early in the marriage then?

Looking at the census index there is only one Albert Green bn c1882 Trowbridge.

Albert R Green Death Reg. Dec qtr 1948 Stratford on Avon aged 83.The vicar of Snitterfield Church Warwickshire said over the phone he died in Nov 1948 no gravestone.(the age doesn't make sense)

Now I am even more confused.         Presumably the Albert R Green you refer to in your last post here dying in 1948 is definately the family you are searching.

You have a birth cert for a Stanley Albert Green bn Trowbridge Sept qtr 1908  which states His parents are Albert and Harriet Green. (does it give a maiden name for Harriet?)  What does Stanleys marriage cert say about his father and who are the witnesses

It would make Albert R(obert  ) Green bn c1864 which would tie in with the latest census you have.
