Sevenoaks Wood/Davis Marriage Lookup

Henry Wood married Amelia Davis in Sevenoaks, Kent in 1877. They lived in the St John's Hill area of Sevenoaks. Is is possible someone could do a lookup for me on them? I would really like to know Henry's father's name. I know they had children there too between 1877 and the last in 1888 - not sure whether they were baptised or not but if anyone is able to check the records that would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Unless any local transcripts exist - you need to know which church the marriage took place in to look it up in the parish records.  The Sevenoaks RD covered several areas

The IGI has a number of entries for baptisms to a Henry & Amelia Wood from 1877 but they all seem to be in Orlestone

There also seems to be another family with Henry & Amelia as parents

They lived in St John's Hill area of Sevenoaks so I'm presuming St John the Baptist.

Just checked the IGI for the family mentioned by CaroleW and it isn't the right family- none of the childrens names match to those of mine and the Henry and Amelia I'm searching for show up on 1881 in Sevenoaks using the surname of Butcher (this is an alias they used - Henry was actually a Butcher). They were definitly born in Sevenoaks.
