Hello,

I am trying to find more information on William Davies born c 1829 in Eversley. His marriage certificate to Eliza Gale in 1851 in Shoreditch gives his father as another William Davies.

I've been unable to find either in the 1841 census nor a birth/ christening record or any other evidence of the family in Eversley.

I'd be very grateful if anyone might be able to help with this brick wall!

20SEP1804 GEORGE DAVIS[ Wid ] to MARTHA SLAUTER [Wid ]

The second marriage is likely to be George's father

In 1841 William is with George at Eversley--also in the house an Ann Parrents?

In 1851 William is a Draper's asst in Shoreditch.
