From familysearch.org. An extracted record.
baptism of Catherine Kelly (no mention of a middle name)
Baptised 21 Dec 1862 at St matthew's Douglas Isle of Man
Father Joseph Kelly
Mother Cathn

There are 3 records for this baptism. One says Braddon

Have you tried looking for her with only her mother?
When did her mother marry Evan Cunningham?

Have used familysearch.org for birth date did not know I could get an extracted record of basptism. Mother Catherine Gill remarried c.1870 and had two more children. I`m really hopeing to find something on the mystery of Jopseph Kelly. I guess we now know that the name "notorious harry Kelly" was just an expression or perhaps his second name if he is on baptism as Joseph Kelly. I have only the one mention of him on the 1861 census - nothing before and nothing after.

1851 HO107/2525/246/59
2 Water lane Conchan Douglas
Joseph Kelly 27 farm labourer Marown
Catherine wife 30 Bride
Caroline 6 Marown
Ann 4 Douglas
Ann Kelly mother 68 Marown

So at least we know the name of Joseph's mother. She is with them in 1861 as well.

Wrong family.

Crisane -1851 census does`nt seem to fit.Mother Catherine born 1838 would only be 13 in 1851. Eleanor had two sisters - Esther Kelly, March 11, 1860 and Catherine Jane ,June 8,1861 and then Elesnor was born Dec. 21,1862. All Baptized at St. mathews in Douglas. Lived at 4 Queen St.
No mother listed on 1861 census that I have only mother, father  and the two girls as Eleanor was born 1862

Crisane- Sorry, last sentence didn`t make much sense. I meant to say that Joseph Kelly`s mother does not appear on the 1861 census that I`m looking at. Household 466, Piece 4416, Folio 126, page 9

Still stumped on Joseph Kelly- probably born around 1827 - 1837. He married Catherine Gill b. 1838 and had three children - Esther b. 1860, Catherine Jane b. 1861 and Eleanor b. 1862. All three girls baptized in St. Mathews in Douglas.. They are all listed census 1861 except Eleanor who wasn`t yet born. I can find nothing else on Joseph Kelly.
