I think "pressing ears for buckets" with the t uncrossed as in "Staffords Bilston" in the following entry.
Gerry
Smyth, Markey, Farrell & McNamee Meath
Newton, Beck, Tebbs & Watts Leicestershire
Hindley & Valentine Lancashire
GÜVENÇ, ÜNDEŞ, AKGÜL & TAŞ Istanbul Turkey

It looks to me like  Dressing/   Pressing Ears for Buckels (Buckles)   :-\

Rosie  :)

I don't think it is Pressing - his S's always have a tail on them even in the middle of a word  :-\   The First letter could be an O

I'm not so sure - check on how the 'O' of Owen has been written.

Further up the page is a Pharoah White - the 'P' of that is written exactly the same as the initial of the word in question

Pressing ears for buckets sounds likely, and looks good to me. I'm imagining the ears to be where the handle attaches to a metal pail.

Looking through the images his writing isn't always consistent - but here are a couple of definite 'p's' - and the other way he writes an 's'  ;D
