Hi

Can anyone help identify this address in Dumbarton taken from the 1911 Census please?

Family surnames being researched ...
Crawford, Neilson, Lindsay, Reekie, Davidson
Drummond, Laing, Pearson, Tulloch ... will do for starters but there's a whole lot more!

Hi Chiad Fhear

There is a Levenhaugh Street showing in 1901 in Dumbarton as a possibility.

Certainly Levenhaugh is a possibility.  Is it possible to post a little more of the image so we can look at more letter strokes?

Hi Monica and '1pds'

I think you have solved the query but, at the risk of contravening any Scottish records copyright by posting more of the image, I've had a look through the full image and there is one other identically flourished "L" for a "Lizzie" so I'm happy to accept this as the leading letter of the address.  The remainder falls into place nicely.

Well done again RootsChat(ters)  ;)
