WW11 Royal Army Service Corps Service Number Required
« on: Thursday 23 August 12 00:22 BST (UK) »
Dear RootsChat members and team

Please can anyone tell me if its possible to find a Military Service number for someone serving as a Sergeant in the Royal Army Pay Corps (aged 21) during 1944  - WW11

Also, once I have the Service number - would it be possible to check any listings for promotion or medals issued or received?

What was life like for a Sergeant in the RAPC and would a serviceman in the RAPC see action or would they be based in the UK and on dry land?

Any help, hints and tips at all would be great.
Many thanks and kind regards
Jed
