To me Banns records are : dates on which the banns we read in a given church.
Banns being the method of announcing the impending marriage of two people, and giving people the chance of objecting to the marriage due to legal grounds.

Hi Ryan :)

I recently ordered a film from LDS.  It came from Utah to my local (Ipswich) Family History Centre within 2 weeks, it's here for 3 months, and it's cost me £7.50.  All I have to do is book the viewer machine thingy, and get my lazy self to the Centre :P

Even if the details you want aren't on the film, it's still good experience and you can browse their library and chat with other users while you're there 8)

All the best,
Carol
