finding an old friend.
« on: Tuesday 28 August 12 16:28 BST (UK) »
In 1965 (approx) an old friend moved to Canada +wife+ twins The old address I have for him is
Corliss Cres Malton ONTARIO, I do not know if they went by ship or plane. He went to work for
(then Toronto Corp) as a bus driver. I have tried various methods of finding but with no success.  Is there any way of contacting him by whatever means. Any help would be very well received.

You could try the Mississauga Public Library

http://www.mississauga.ca/portal/residents/library

Click on Contact the library go to Ask a Librarian. See if they might be able to do a directory search. They might have something like the Henderson Directories

that we have in Alberta. It will probably take a few days for a reply back.

Good luck with your search

Thanks to you both for the quick response, I am afraid that the 411 did not bring me any luck, so I will have to try Mississauga library. The one thing I do not know is whether he has moved to another part of Toronto. I have a Brother-in -law in Strathmore AB he tried to help in WINTER,but once the Sun came out it dried up his thirst (in more ways then one).

Thanks very much, ALBERTA is small on a pocket map, but Strathmore is smaller. I am glad I am not a betting man. WHEW !  No one would believe me if I told them,  what are the chances of this happening ,
I am In Manchester UK..
