John Webster Bulmer 1891 and 1901
« on: Thursday 30 August 12 13:40 BST (UK) »
Could someone please help me find information about John Webster Bulmer born in Filey in 1856
I have information when he lived at home as a child

In 1881  he is 25, married to Sarah with son Luke,  his occupation A fish curer, living in King Street Filey.
In 1911 I have him aged 55, still married to Sarah and son Luke - occupation  a Lodging house keeper at Arndale the Beach Filey

Could someone please help me with the missing years 1891 and 1901

This would help me fill in some gaps

Thank you
Tina

Tina,

I am sorry but I have not had any luck in locating John Webster Bulmer on the 1901 census despite trying every variation of his name that I can think of, maybe someone else might be a  bit more creative than me and find him for you.  If I can be of any further help, please feel free to ask.

Tina,

You are most welcome :)  I am just sorry that I am unable to locate John on the 1901 census.  If you have access to Ancestry's records it would appear that his son John died in the First World War.  His service records are available to view on the Ancestry website.

Thanks again

I had just found the possible reference for his son and WW1 .
I was looking at all the family from the 1891 and 1901 information you gave me to see where they all were in 1911.

No I no longer have access to Ancestry but am thinking of subscribing again this winter

regards
Tina

Assuming that you live in England, 'Ancestry' is likely to be available on the computers at your local library.

Thank you Bee

I do go to the local library to check ancestry records there sometimes but much prefer to do my research at home.
