Towers
« on: Thursday 30 August 12 16:43 BST (UK) »
Francis K Towers ( maiden name unknown) was living at 305 Fifth Ave ,Ottawa in Ontario Canada in 1971. I would like to find details of her death . As her hushand George Towers was born in England in 1906-- I am assuming she would be of a similar age.

George Towers was born on 12 Sept 1906 in Andover and moved to Canada in 1929 and lived at 28 Frank street ,South Ottawa,Ontario the home of an uncle when he first arrived. He served as a WO1 in the Royal Canadian Airforce and died 20 May 1971 and is buried in Beechwood National Cemetery.Francis was listed in the cemetery records as his wife.

But I do not know when he married Francis or if there were any children. Any information would be appreciated.

www.canada411.ca

has a listing for a J. Towers at the address you gave for 305, 5th Avenue, Ottawa, Ont

to find the listing just put in last name Towers and under where type in Ottawa, Ontario and 2 listings should pop up, one at the address above and one in Kanata.

Hopefully, this will help in your search.

You're very welcome.  I did find a newspaper clipping of the marriage to George Towers in 1945
