A Briggs Northumberland Fusilers

I have a WW1 medal engraved A Briggs Northumberland Fusilers and wondered if anyone was looking for someone with the same name.  I'm not even sure how it came to be in the families possession.

Hi there

Dont have anything to do with the medal

Saying that I was nosey so looked on line and did
find a Albert Briggs of the Northumberland Fusiliers
number 311057 in 1919 transferred to the reserves.
Only thing is there is another hand written note
on the paperwork and it gives a Surrey address so
dont know if that could be a connection to your family?

If the number is 1916 then have a look for an Arthur E Biggs.....Think there was a bit of confusion over names A Briggs and AE Biggs are the same person
