Ralph BRINDLEY (bap 1745) of Longton Staff., son Joseph BRINDLEY (b.1801) of Hampshire then Surrey;
Abraham CLARK b.abt1801, family lore-abandoned baby lefted with the clark of the parish swaddled in linens w royal emblems--hence surname "Clark", was father to Arthur CLARK of St James b.1820 of Surrey who then married Mary Jane BRINDLEY;
James GREEN b.1801 of Sussex m. Mary Ann NEWTON-->James GREEN b.1824 of St James m. Mary Jane BOLLEN-->Ellen Maud GREEN b.1853 m.James Brindley CLARK b.1851
