I have a query regarding some of my more recent family in Jersey.
When he was a boy, my father used to help out on his uncle and aunties farm in the 1930s. He remembered travelling in a truck with his uncle taking potatoes to the weighbridge in St Helier. Their names were Len (Lennard?) and Daphne Renouf (nee Phillips), but Dad lost touch with them during after his evacuation in 1940. Daphne was my garndmothers sister and must have been born about 1915. They grew up on St Lukes Crescent, St Clements. They had five children - Carole, Anthony, Roselle, Christine and John. I don't know anything about John or Christine, Roselle may have been born in Hampshire abt 1942 (which suggests that they also left the island during the war) and Tony (bn abt 1944) was last heard of living at St Brendan, St Brelades in about 2001, but I have a feeling he may no longer be with us. Does anybody know this family?
