The Hull Family History Fair is only a short time away so don't forget to reserve the day for what was the region's biggest fair in 2011. This year it is on the 29th September (2102), at the Costello Stadium, from 10am to 4pm. The bit I like best of all is the admission price - just £1.00 each and the kids get in for free. So why can't other fairs do the same?
Last year there were some fantastic help desks dealing with family and military research and I certainly got my money's worth from them! I was also given a free goodie bag when I paid to get in and mine had a good tenner's worth of useful goodies hidden inside. I understand that they will be giving away another 250 bags again this year.
I can thoroughly recomend going along.
