Mary Moverley
« on: Thursday 20 September 12 11:48 BST (UK) »
Can anyone help, I'm looking for the birth of Mary Moverley, she married Benjamin Bisby 1792 Thurnscoe South Yorkshire. She died 1837 and is buried St Helens Thurnscoe age 68. I can't find a birth that would fit are any document that would tell me anything about her.
Thanks Dizzylizzy.

Looking at the map I would say Kellington to Thurnscoe is about 14 miles 'as the crow flies'. By road back in those days I would think you could add about another 6 miles or so.

Hi there
thank you for help with Mary Moverley, I think i'ts near enough for her to have gone from Kellington to Thurnscoe, although I'm not sure how, perhaps by rail. There are loads of Moverley's in Kellington.
