Looking for any Scotts descended from my great grand father James Scott and his second wife Maria Stronach

Children:Henry 1892,Harriet 1894,James 1896, Arthur 1898,Frances 1904,Florence 1907 and Anthony 1912-1965 married Elsie Chater 1936

I've found most of information on his first marriage to Elizabeth Close but have next to nothing on his second....Scott is not the easiest name to research

The second marriage took place in the Tynemouth district in 1891:

and Maria was born in the same district in 1869:
Births Mar 1869   
Stronach    Maria     Tynemouth    10b   173

There's a number of Stronach's listed in Tynemouth between 1860 - 1875, there's no overlap either with any of the registrations so they could all be the same family.  The name is definitely more unusual than her husbands.

If you have next to nothing on his second marriage, it suggests you have something!  What is it that you have already to save duplicating effort?

I can see the extent of your problem Steve!

Assuming they stayed in the Tynemouth area, I looked for marriages for Florence (too many), and Frances from 1920 - 1935.  There are only two for a Frances Scott in Tynemouth (but she may have married elsewhere).:

Your best bet might be to contact the Registrars Office in the area and see if they will do a search based on the bride's fathers name for these two.  They might charge for this but it could be a way forward for at least one of the Scotts, then you could order the certificate.  I'm not sure if you'll want South or North Tyneside office, have a look on NEBMD for the links.

Thanks for that, I've spent a fortune on BMD certs for the Scott family

I had the added problem that my grand father John William Scott married Isabella Scott
