I am desperate to find out where my gr. grandfather Benjamin West Spence was born and when he was born, his marriage cert to Annie Wotherspoon stated that his father was John Spence and his mother Ann Louisa Brown, but I cant find his birth anywhere. he was drowned in 1894 thanks Heather

Hi, have you got him on any censuses - if so when and where does he say he was born!
And what age was he at death?
When was the marriage? And did he give an age then?
Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex
DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex
Boniface - West Sussex

I see that, according to a tree on Ancestry, Benjamin was born, lived, and married in Scotland?

Born about 1861?

I will ask a Mod to move this to Scotland,
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)
