Finding my Great,Great Grandfather
« on: Saturday 29 September 12 10:43 BST (UK) »
Does anyone have any ideas on how to find my Great,Great Grandfather. He left my Great Grandfather as a young child and we presume he went to war. His name was not recorded on my Great Grandfather's birth certificate and we are interested to follow up another line of our family tree. If you have any ideas, they would be much appreciated.

Not with zero information to work with, no. It depends on several factors.
Give us names, dates, places, etc., what you know about him already, what gaps are missing and so on. That might spark some ideas.
Name interests: Boulton, Murrell, Lock, Croxton, Skinner, Blewett, Tonkin, Trathen.
