Sumford Family

I have found "Sumford" activity in Great Tey in the late 17th/early 18th century including the baptism of my ancestor Sarah Sumford in 1689, but the surname seems to disappear after that. Her parents were Joseph and Sarah.

I haven't found a marriage yet for Joseph Sumford and Sarah (surname unknown) but presume it would have been in the 1680's around the Great Tey area.
Also, I'm looking for the burial of Joseph Sumford after 1696 in the same area.

If anybody could help me trace this family back so that I know where to look next on SEAX I'd be very grateful.

Thanks for that info. How weird that the page is missing. No wonder I didn't spot it. That looks like the marriage though so I'll investigate further....

It might be worth emailing SEAX asking them to check whether the page was missed when the register was being scanned. I did this when I thought something was missing. They were very helpful, the page had indeed been missed and was scanned and added.
