Bromham epidemics?
« on: Friday 05 October 12 22:32 BST (UK) »
Has anyone info on any epidemics that occurred in Bromham in the 19th century - in particular the mid 1800's - I have found many members of the same family dying in the space of a two week period

There might be something embedded in the village web site? There is a contacts page so someone may be able to help?

The british government does release a series of books entitled

ANNUAL REPORT REGISTRAR-GENERAL  BIRTHS, DEATHS, AND MARRIAGES  IN ENGLAND.

and amongst the series I know for certain the 26th edition (for 1865)  appears at the following link

http://archive.org/stream/annualreportreg17unkngoog/annualreportreg17unkngoog_djvu.txt

So if you are concerned about a particular year  maybe google the name  and year to see if it comes up.
They are very tedious things mostly statistics   but they do discuss in great lengths abnormal events.......

Best I can offer, than to look for newspaper articles in the British Newspaper Archive site (sub required)
or the Wiltshire Coroners Reports site
