Alexander Taylor Buchan- St Combs
« on: Wednesday 10 October 12 16:02 BST (UK) »
Alexander was born 9.11.1899 in St Combs and went to live in Aberdeen as far as I am aware he was deaf and dumb due to meningitis as a  child. Trying to trace what became of him and his wfie.

Alexander Buchan was my grandfather. He married my grandma Williamina Archer Polson on 18th December 1914, she was also deaf and dumb.
They had five more children after Margaret as a family we were aware of Margaret but there was limited contact.
My grandmas sister died without any family so her estate came to all of my grandmas children and I have copies of birth certificates for them all. I also have copies their marriage certificate, Margarets birth and marriage certificates. I also have photos of (I believe) Alexander's father, my great grandfather and one of my grandparents with a little girl I think is Margaret.
Hope this helps. When they were left legacies I requested copies of all certificates the Canadian company had. Hope this helps

Thank you all for your replies and welcome. As you know I am new to this site and still finding how to use it to its full advantage.
I have often wondered if we still have any family links still in St Combes.
