Hi,

Just to throw another spanner into the works, I can't seem to see Carl Frederick Nelson on the Electoral Roll.    There is a Carl Frederick/Fraderick Nilson 1890/1896 Masterton, Wellington area.

Perhaps someone can double check in case I have missed Carl Frederick Nelson.

Cheers

Hi KHP

Think perhaps this NILSON chap might be one of the Scandanavian settlers who arrived in that area in the 1870's ?  (Only a guess though.)

1890 and 1896 - Carl Frederick is decribed as a "settler" - resident at Eketahuna.   In 1896 there are a number of NILSONs at that location - also several married (NILSON) women (any one of whom might be wife of Carl F. ? )

Is there anything on burial locator for Carl F. NILSON which might enable us to eliminate him ?
