Barnes
« on: Friday 12 October 12 22:19 BST (UK) »
Hi there.

I am trying to find a John Thomas Barnes, born 1876, in Middle Rasen, Lincolnshire, England. I have found him in the 1881 census, but don't know who his parents were, as he was living with his Grandparent's Thomas and Sarah Barnes. Hope someone can help me. Thanks.

Hi and welcome

I think you would need to buy a copy of his birth cert to get that info

From freebmd   www.freebmd.org.uk

December qtr 1875   John Thomas Barnes    Caistor  7a 648 (ignore entry showing page as 618 - full GRO index checked and confirmed as 648)

The only near candidate in 1881 seems to be living middle Rasen, yet born kingersby. Aged 5 years.
Is that the one you are looking at?

He appears to be the subject of another thread posted just a few days ago http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,618169.0.html
