Neither men appear on the Christchurch cemetery database so it may pay to email the Christchurch Cremation Society

This might just be a coincidence but there is a SPARGO death notice in today's issue of The Press. Jennifer Mary aged 71 died Oamaru two days ago. Husband is named and from the wording seems to still be alive.

Thanks I also noticed the death notice but haven't been able to make a connection. An unusual name so will keep it just in case.
